In 1984 ZKP RTV Slovenia released Svetlana Makarovič's Poems from the Cat's Yarn on cassette. The multi-talented artist contributed music, lyrics, illustrations and her own voice (along with Ljerka Belak, Bogomir Veras and Ivan Jezernik), while percussionist Aleš Kersnik wrote the arrangements and with his trio of Silvo Stingl (piano) and Djuro Penzeš (bass) performed the songs. The original recordings have now been restored so that also your little ones can learn more about the Cat Shop, Comrade Fox, the Mouse Reapers and the Mouse Mill, as well as get to know the Crow Anthem, the braggart Little Squirrel, Šin Šan Kitten and Puppy Postružek.
