A pop art erotic comedy and crime story. The funky crime story is just a pretence for the character of a »young man who everyone wants to 'steal' something from – criminals want money he doesn't even know he has, and a crowd of girls in a seaside resort want himself or his 'masculinity' » (Zdenko Vrdlovec, film historian). If we watch the film with an ironic distance, we will really enjoy it, as it impresses not only with an excess of iconoclastic imagination, but also with its vivid form (Dr. Peter Stanković, film historian).

SYNOPSIS

Gangsters hide the stolen money into a refrigerator that is to be delivered to one school on the coast. They follow the refrigerator and detectives follow them. There is a young student in the school that takes a job of a photographer to earn a free vacation and a lot of girls who are trying to win his heart. The story is full of funny complications. The boy then uncovers the gangsters and his friends who came here to spend their holiday save him from the chasing of the girls.

In the film The Shout of the Sun starr Bojan Mark (Tomaž), Vinko Hrastelj (Little gangster), Zvone Šedlbauer (Big gangster), Marijana Brecelj (Professor), Demeter Bitenc (Detective), Anton Petje (Police inspector) and Maks Bajc (Warehouseman). The screenplay was written by Boštjan Hladnik, who also directed the film, the choreographer is Janez Meglič, the director of photography is Janez Kališnik, the editor is Marija Fajdiga Pirkmajer, the production designer is Mirko Lipužič, the costume designer is Irena Felicijanand the make-up artist are Berta Meglič and Lea Hočevar.
