A crime thriller with a political backdrop. The first Slovenian real crime film, which takes place in the famous Ljubljana nightclub Nebotičnik, was shot by the director Jane Kavčič »with a small amount of money left to Viba from the production of Štiglič's That Beautiful Day" (Zdenko Vrdlovec, film historian). The screenplay was based on the story by Milan Nikolić, whose work had already inspired the first domestic spy film X 25 Reports two years earlier.

SYNOPSIS

After 18 years, Koh comes back home and because of his long absence he is suspected of treachery during the War, when a number of his schoolmates were killed. Only four of them have survived and Koh decides to find the traitor by himself. The four former schoolmates have a meeting in a night club and Koh is pushed off from the terrace. The others are informed of Koh's death by a police inspector who comes in. One of the former schoolmates runs away, but the police catch him. The inspector detains all of the suspects in the empty bar and at the reconstruction of the events, find out the killer.

The crime film Minute for Murder features Duša Počkaj (Lina), Vanja Drah (Koh), Demeter Bitenc (Mitja), Lojze Rozman (Max), Zlatko Madunić (Mlakar), Janez Škof (police inspector) and Jože Zupan (professor). The screenplay was written by Milan Nikolić, directed by Jane Kavčič, choreographed by Janez Samec, the director of photography is France Cerar, music was written by Jože Privšek, the editor is Darinka Peršin, the production designer is  Mirko Lipužič, the costume designer is Maruša Rozman, make-up artists are Berta Meglič and Janja Rožanc.
