An omnibus film by four young Slovenian film directors, titled after the poetry collection of Ivan Volarič - Feo, who plays the main role of the projectionist Štrocki. Four stories from his life are combined into one film. Recipient of two Vesna Awards at the Festival of Slovenian Film for scenography and sound. »Desperado Tonic is a film about what film does with a cinephile. SYNOPSIS

In a coastal town projectionist Štrocki is preparing a film screening and a television crew is making a documentary about the event. The TV crew comes into conflicts with the locals. Štrocki is faced with a challenge that can bring the filming to an end. During the screening of a film about the heroes of the occupied town, the heroine, the almost true love of his life, visits Štrocki in the projection room. On the way to Jordan kal, Štrocki gets lost in the forests of Dolenjska, but not completely by accident. These gloomy forests are known for phantom roads and secluded farms. And not all farms are so lonely ... Štrocki has horrible problems - the image in front of his eyes flashes like a low-speed projector. Nevertheless, on a rainy night, he drives to the airport, where he meets an immortal creature and a copy of this special screening.
