The feature debut of director Tomaž Gorkič has won awards at numerous genre and horror film festivals around the world. It won four Vesna awards at home: for the supporting roles of Jurij Drevenšek and Nika Rozman, for the production design by Grega Nartnik and the main Vesna for Best Feature Film. The director got the idea for the creepy spirit that we see in the film from the močeradovec. To produce this drink, the still-living salamander is doused with hot brandy so that it slowly dies, secreting mucus which is then added to the brandy. “An impressive achievement, as the filmmakers have overcome the limitations of their production environment” (film critic Denis Valič, Radio Slovenia).

SYNOPSIS

After a night of carousing the amateur photo model Zina heads for a fashion shoot in nature, accompanied by the ambitious Mia, apathetic Dragica and snobby photographer Blitcz. On their way to the location they come across some odd locals, but pay them no attention. On an idyllic meadow that they chose as their location, they are violently attacked by its supposed owners Francl and Vintlr. Thus an ordinary fashion shoot in nature turns into a fierce fight for survival.
