Suzana spi (Suzana Sleeps) is the second in a series of compositions from the "trilogy" of releases within the project of trumpeter Tomaž Gajšt. On 11 April, the RTV Slovenia Big Band performed an evening of Gajšt's works at the Siti Theatre in Ljubljana. They also played Suzana spi, the only piece not written by Tomaž in which he appears as a soloist, together with singers Maša But, Ana Čop and Nina Strnad. The author of the composition and arrangement is Lojze Krajnčan, and the lyrics are by Robert Jukič. The composition can easily be classified as a contemporary pop song. The title may be misleading, as it is not a lullaby at all.
