Ana Soklič will represent Slovenia in Rotterdam with the song Amen. The music for it was written by Ana Soklič, Žiga Pirnat and Bojan Simončič and the lyrics by Charlie Mason, Ana Soklič and Žiga Pirnat. The latter also made an arrangement. A total of more than 60 people took part in the production. In addition to Ana, the biggest star of this year's song are the members of the accompanying singing group. Producer Žiga Pirnat built the choir around Dorian Holley the backing vocalist for Michael Jackson with whom Dorian performed on all tours. In addition to him some of the most sought-after singers in Hollywood are singing alongside Ana who can be heard on recordings and performances by Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Christine Aguilera and John Legend. The backing choir of vocalists were recorded at the legendary Studio 1 of the EastWest Studios complex in Hollywood where Frank Sinatra recorded hits such as My Way and Strangers in the night and Madonna her groundbreaking Like a Prayer. Most recently it hosted Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor among others. A strong sound stamp was also imprinted by sound engineer Tony Maserati, who worked with famous names such as Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, Jennifer Lopez, Whitney Houston, David Bowie and many others. The final recording also features members of the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra conducted by Žiga Pirnat, and the accompanying vocals by Karin Zemljič. Karin also sang backing vocals with Ana live on the show EMA 2021 and will hopefully do it in Rotterdam as well.

ANA SOKLIČ
Ana Soklič began her music career at an early age; studying with Alenka Dernač-Bunta, the acclaimed Slovenian musician Darja Švajger (two-time Slovenian representative at the Eurovision Song Contest) and singing coach Nataša Nahtigal. Soklič has competed twice at EMA (Slovenia's national selection show) and 3 times at the Slovenian Song Festival, where, in 2019, she won 2 jury awards for best interpretation and best song overall. The Savica-born songstress has often performed her tracks with the backing of a symphony orchestra, including the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra. However, her favourite gigs are when she’s working with smaller ensembles as she feels the connection with the audience is at its most genuine and intimate.
