The Slovene EMA Contest 2011 edition, the Slovene national final for the Eurovision Song Contestin Düsseldorf, was held in the Studio 1 of TV Slovenia on 27 February 2011. Its jury invited 10 Slovene acclaimed pop and rock artists (most of them fresh and new on the national pop & rock scene) to participate. They had to pick their songs. During the contest the special three-person jury selected
the two superfinalists for the final televoting of the TV and radio auidience. Its big winner (28.908 votes) and also the winner of the contest was the young lady singer Maja Keuc with her attractive and fresh vocal and the song Vanilija - Vanilla.
