Gušti back on track
Multitalented author and musician Miha Guštin – Gušti recently released his third solo-album ‘Naša stvar’ with ZKP RTV SLO. The album contains another doze of Gušti originals that are defined by excellent songwriting and high-end production.
Gušti is one of Slovenia’s most renowned artists whose impressive career spans over 20 years of popular hits. As founding member of the nearly legendary rock band Big Foot Mama, Gušti’s responsible for most of their main successes such as Led s severa, Mala nimfomanka, Nisem več tabo, Garbage, Črn tulipan and Fenomen. After breaking with the band Gušti released the highly-acclaimed album ‘Dolce
vita’ including great co-operations with major artists such as Bajaga, Tomi Meglič (Siddharta) and Andja Marić. Dolce vita also marked the start of the hugely popular project GP joining Gušti with young singer Polona Kasal. Tracks from their album GP, released in January 2005, among which ‘Mine leto’, ‘Moje sanje’, ‘Trip’, ‘Makova polja’, ‘D dan’ in ‘vedno zame’ have significantly moved the boundaries of popular music in Slovenia and receive tremendous airplay even
today. With the new album, first after quite a long period of artistic reflection, Gušti is back on track!
