Same babe (Broads Only) are the oddballs of the contemporary Slovene musical scene. Strung between Slovene folk roots, chanson, jazz, cabaret, punk, blues and singer & songwriter yarns they tread their own path towards wider recognition and glory, raising the praise and attention of Slovene audience and musical press. Their music is generally based on borrowed (traditional or written by Slovene poets) and their own witty lyrics (revealing the tragicomedies of
everyday life of Mr. Average Slovenian) and has been moulded during their frequent live performances. Their line-up is 100% acoustic (Marko Jelovšek (vocal, double bass), Marko Voljč (vocal, trumpet, ukulele, accordion, tambourine), Miha Nemanič (vocal, harmonica, tambourine, shaker, drum), Viki Baba (vocal, guitar), their music is unpretentions and funny and based on energetic singing of all the members of the band.
