The legendary Slovenian punk rock band Niet is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. On 24 May, the band members will celebrate the anniversary with a sold-out concert in Križanke, and on the same day ZKP RTV Slovenia will release a double vinyl album entitled Pa tako lep dan je bil 1984-2024 (It was such a beautiful day 1984-2024) and a digital album entitled Tema rjove skozi mesto (Darkness roars through the city). The double vinyl will include tracks from all the band's key periods while the digital album Tema rjove skozi mesto will be available with a streaming code, but can also be purchased separately. It includes four tracks from 1984 which features the band's then-backing vocalist Tanja Ukmar singing alongside Primož Habič: Ritem človeštva, Perspektive, Strah and Izobčeni, five mostly unreleased tracks from the original Niet era performed by the current band and singer Borut Marolt: Februar, Melanholija, Perspektive, Ritem človeštva and Ruski vohun and their latest single Tema rjove skozi mesto.
