The legendary band Šank Rock is entering the spring season with the song Lahka dama, featured on their acoustic album Romantično. The album was released by ZKP RTV Slovenija in April last year. “The song was created as a ‘studio bonus’ for our first live album titled V živo na mrtvo, which we recorded in 1993 at the Festival Pivo in Cvetje in Laško. The original version differs quite a bit from the acoustic one. The new arrangement flirts with reggae rhythms, giving the song a special charm. At the same time, the excellent lyrics written by Zoran Predin come even more to the forefront,” says lead singer Matjaž Jelen about the track. 

You can experience how it sounds live on March 7 at the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom. In celebration of International Women’s Day, Šank Rock will perform a carefully selected collection of their most beautiful songs — from timeless ballads to fresh reggae, dance, and Latin-inspired arrangements, recorded for the album Romantično at last year’s Christmas concert.
