Following the tremendous success of their last two singles, Today Is the Day (Danes je dan) and It’s Not Your Fault (Nisi kriva ti), legendary Slovenian rock band Šank Rock return with a brand-new original song, Do You Ever Think of Me (Pomisliš kdaj name). The single has once again been released by ZKP RTV Slovenia. With their latest release, Šank Rock reveal a more intimate and emotional side, inviting listeners into a story of memories, longing, and the questions that quietly linger somewhere deep in the comforting corners of our subconscious. Do You Ever Think of Me is a song about people whom time separates and relationships that time gradually loosens, yet never truly erases from our thoughts. It speaks of a love preserved between the lines of the past and of those moments when, in silence and solitude, we wonder whether the person on the other side still thinks of us from time to time. The lyrics, written by Leon Oblak, open a space for listeners’ own personal stories through refined and evocative verses. “A year passes, but the night never ends,” “Through the wide cracks of life, autumn peers in,” and “I still love you in the embrace of silence...” are lines that carry emotional intensity, expressiveness, and sincerity. The music was composed by Matjaž Jelen, the author of many of the band's greatest hits, who once again remains faithful to the melodic rock sound that generations of listeners have come to associate with Šank Rock. The production was handled by Dejan Radičević, who gave the song a contemporary sonic signature while preserving the band's authentic energy. The new single is available on all major digital platforms and will soon be accompanied by an official music video.

Today, Šank Rock consists of Matjaž Jelen (vocals), Cveto Polak (bass), Aleš Uranjek (drums), Andrej Rot (guitar), and Marko Zorec (guitar and keyboards), who continue to prove that authentic rock stories still resonate with audiences. The band's new album is already well underway.

About the Music Video

Do You Ever Think of Me is accompanied by a music video directed by acclaimed filmmaker Perica Raić, known for numerous projects throughout the region. Alongside the members of Šank Rock, the video also features the current winners of the World Top Model beauty competition: Tia Radelj, holder of the World Top Model Slovenia title, and Martina Pijunović, the reigning World Top Model Serbia. Their presence adds a distinct visual elegance and symbolism that complements the song’s narrative of memories, lost closeness, and unspoken emotions. Combined with atmospheric cinematography and the band's recognizable energy, the video creates a powerful visual counterpart to the song’s emotional message.
