Stanje šoka

Stanje šoka je grenka komedija Andreja Košaka o družini, prijateljstvu, izgubljenih idealih in o moči posameznika, da premaga sistem. »Toda moj namen ni bil samo napisati komedijo, marveč prikazati zablode, ki smo jim bili priča zadnjih dvajset let, v obdobju tranzicije. Zato film ne oriše zgolj situacije, v kateri se nahajamo Slovenci, marveč poskuša zajeti izkušnjo celotnega postsocialističnega bloka« (Andrej Košak, režiser in scenarist). V ZDA šolani igralec Martin Marion je prejel vesno za posebne dosežke za glavno vlogo delavca Petra Zmazka, s katero je po oceni žirije ustvaril impresivno in neobremenjeno pojavnost v slovenskem filmu.

The State of Shock is a bitter comedy from New Europe about transition, family, friendship, lost ideals and about the power of an individual to beat the system. »However, my intention was not to simply write a comedy, but to show the fallacies and delusions that we had witnessed over the last twenty years, during the period of the so called transition. Therefore, the film does not simply describe the current situation that Slovenes are faced with, but it attempts to capture the experience of the entire post-socialist bloc« (Andrej Košak, director). The actor Martin Marion, who trained in the USA, received the Vesna award for special achievements for the leading role of the worker Peter Zmazek, with which, according to the jury, he created an impressive and unencumbered appearance in the Slovenian film.
